BSAA/BLAA: unchanged gaze, looking away from partner
Definition: Gaze both before and after the blink is directed away from the head of the conversational partner.
There is great variation in the frequency of this blink across individuals. More so than the BSTT blink, you may frequently encounter flurries of BSAA blinks that appear to be related to speaker-internal issues such as sentence planning and lexical access, though only further research can determine whether this kind of speculation is warranted.
