Introduction to Cognitive Science: COMP20090
We now offer an undergraduate module entitled "An Introduction to Cognitive Science". This is available as an elective to undergraduates throughout the university. It is a level 2 module, which aims to introduce students to the subject area of cognitive science. Topics to be covered include

- Learning and Development
- Movement
- Vision
- Representations
- On Time and Space
- Perception and Action
- Studying the human brain
- Memory
- Cognitive Psychology
- Consciousness
- Modelling methologies
This course should be of general interest. There is no assumption that students will have any prior knowledge of psychology or cognitive science. Lectures will be on Tuesday at 11 and Thursday at 12 in the second semester. Each lecture will be repeated at 2 p.m. on the same day. All lectures will be held in the CSI Lecture Theatre, on the ground floor in the Computer Science building.
